Festival Artwork & Visual Identity

FALSE IDOLS

For FALSE IDOLS – Festival Artwork & Visual Identity, I led the art direction by fusing ancient mythology with contemporary queer aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from the excesses of Sodom and Gomorrah, the burning Golden Calf, and orgiastic Greek rituals, I crafted a visual world where sacred meets profane. The central imagery—a blazing bull surrounded by dancing bodies, demons, angels, and beasts—evokes ecstasy, transformation, and rebellion. Set against a backdrop of woodland flora, the artwork celebrates queer desire, ritual, and celebration in all its bodily diversity. From bold logos to a richly symbolic poster, the visual identity invites audiences into a lush, transgressive realm of worship, pleasure, and radical joy.
